This Cool Whip candy has a light and fluffy chocolate center just like a 3 Musketeers bar! This homemade candy is easy to make in your own kitchen with just 3 ingredients.
10ouncesGhirardelli chocolate melting wafers, one package (milk or dark)
Instructions
Prepare baking dish: Line a 5x7 inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside. Also line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Melt chocolate chips: Place 1 cup chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and melt in microwave at 50% power in 30 second intervals, stirring between each. When smooth and melted, allow to sit at room temperature until cooled, about 15 minutes.
Combine chocolate and Cool Whip: Fold the 1/2 tub of Cool Whip into the cooled chocolate chips. Stir until it's combined then pour into baking dish.
Freeze: Freeze for 30-60 minutes, or until hardened. Cut into 12-16 squares and place onto parchment paper lined baking sheet. Return squares to freezer for at least 30 more minutes.
Melt Wafers: Melt the 10 ounces of chocolate wafers according to package instructions. Stir until smooth.
Dip candy bars: Remove candy from freezer and dip into melted chocolate. Place on parchment paper, using a toothpick to help slide them back on. Trace the edges with a toothpick to remove excess chocolate. Store in freezer until ready to serve.
Notes
Substitutions: You can use an 8 inch square pan, however the candy will be a bit thinner. Tip:I did these 1/2 batch at a time, keeping the rest in the freezer because they can get soft quickly.
