Easy and Festive Santa Brownies
These Santa hat brownies have to be one of the easiest holiday desserts. There’s no baking required and they’re made in just 10 minutes. Some other easy go-to’s are my reindeer pretzels, sugar cookie truffles and microwave caramels.
I’m super excited for the “baking” posts this week. Tune in each day to find new holiday recipes from some the BEST. I’m kicking off baking week with these cute and YUMMY brownie strawberry Santa hats. These are the perfect dessert for your Christmas party.
Reasons We Love Them
- They are SO easy and will make your display super cute.
- Who doesn’t love chocolate strawberries?
- Your friends will love you. That’s all.
I saw this fun idea last year on Erica’s Sweet Tooth and knew the kids and I had to make our own version. They turned out delicious! They are also really simple to make which is a HUGE bonus. ;)
How to Make Santa Hat Brownies
The first thing I did was grab my brownie bites.
Next I placed my frosting in a zip lock bag and snipped off the corner. Then I swirled a little frosting on top of the brownie.
Finally, I put the strawberry on and added a little dot of frosting on top to complete the Santa hat. How adorable are these?! Everyone LOVED them! Chocolate + strawberry is my favorite combo, so I will definitely be making these again before Christmas. ;)
Variation
You can make a variation without the brownie bites if you prefer. You’ll need white chocolate, strawberries, sprinkles and mini marshmallows. Follow the simple steps below to get started.
- Melt white chocolate in a small bowl.
- Dip the bottom of the strawberry in white chocolate, then immediately dip in sprinkles.
- Dip one side of the mini marshmallow in white chocolate, then add on top as the Santa hat. You could also use frosting instead.
- Place on a piece of parchment paper to dry. Enjoy!

You are very welcome! These were such a big hit at our Christmas party, I will definitely make them again next year! :)
my grandchildren loved them ,also enjoyed helping make them :-)
I’m so glad they loved them! They are such a fun treat for kids! :)
Hi…omg this looks amazingly mouth watering… And of course beautiful. I would like to know how many days can you store them? How early can they be made and still look and taste great!?!? Thank you much
If you wanted to make them ahead of time, I would recommend making the brownies a few days before and refrigerating them and then adding the santa hat on top the day of. Once they are made, they only really last a day if you want them to look them same! Hope that helps! :)
they look fantastic- I’m looking forward to trying them at Christmas. Do you need to use half and half or is 1 or 2% milk OK?
Yes, it should work the same with 1% or 2% milk. :)
Thank you so much for this recipe, I tried it today and absolutely loved the result – I even blogged about it if you’d like to see the result on my blog although they don’t look as perfect as yours did!
