How to Make Peanut Butter Stuffed Brownies
Make brownie batter according to directions on package. Then pour about 2/3 mixture into the parchment lined pan. Cream butter, peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter filling on top of brownie batter.
Add remaining 1/3 brownie mixture on top of peanut butter and smooth with spatula. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
To make chocolate ganache, heat the heavy cream in the microwave for about 30 seconds, or until very hot. Then pour on top of the chopped chocolate (photo below) and cover with saran wrap. Let sit for a few minutes in order to melt.
Stir ganache until smooth, then pour over cooled brownies and smooth with a spatula. Refrigerate for 1 hour prior to serving.
Baking Tips
- Easy clean up: Line your pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Add candy: Add chopped Reese’s to the peanut butter filling before baking or on top of chocolate ganache.
- More chocolate: Feel free to mix in some chocolate chips to your brownie batter.
- Less chocolate: You could omit the chocolate ganache if preferred.
- Don’t over bake! You want the brownies to be gooey and fudgy. Oven timing can vary, so use a toothpick to determine if brownies are done.

How are they the next day? Thinking about making them tonight for a party tomorrow.
I just made these this afternoon. The brownie part turned out a little bit thicker than I would have hoped. Should I do something different with the recipe next time, or do I need a bigger pan? I used a 9×13 today. Other than that, they were great!
Oh my these were so wonderful. Made them tonight and everyone loved them. I substituted regular Reese’s minis for the white. Turned out great. Thanks for a wonderful and easy recipe.
I made these today, followed the direction exactly, and I have to say that I am beyond disappointed:( the cream cheese/sweetened condensed milk is runny after 3 1/2 hours in the fridge….the brownie part isn’t very brownie like:( I wouldn’t be as disappointed if I wasn’t a baker….but I am always trying new recipes and I bake 4 days out of 7 and this is my first complaint, sorry:(
