Green Punch with Sherbet

This green punch is easy to make with lemon-lime soda and lime sherbet! It’s green color makes it perfect for a St. Patrick’s Day punch or an easy holiday Grinch punch.

Made with only 3 ingredients and ready in 5 minutes, it’s sweet, refreshing and will disappear at any party! You could even serve it at Halloween instead of my Halloween Punch with orange sherbet; both kids and adults love this no alcohol punch.

Add scoopfuls of sherbet slowly to the punch. You don’t have to use it all if you prefer less sherbet in the green colored punch. Ladle into cups and serve immediately!

Tips and Variations

  • Use green Hawaiian punch or lemon lime Kool-Aid for a non-fizzy punch that is soda free, too.
  • Sprite, 7-Up, Starry lemon lime soda or even Mountain Dew taste great in this lime sherbet punch, although I love using soda that does not contain caffeine.
  • This green punch recipe tastes great with Ginger Ale instead of lemon lime soda.
  • Add a red sugared rim for Grinch Punch at Christmas, call it slime punch for birthdays, Ghostbusters punch at Halloween or serve it for St. Patrick’s Day punch!
  • Change the flavor of sherbet and change the color of the party punch. Orange sherbet, rainbow sherbet or raspberry sherbet can all be used.
  • Garnish the lime sherbet punch with lime slices, cute drink toppers and fun striped straws. For an adult party, adding basil leaves adds a festive touch.
