Peanut Butter and Chocolate Sandwiches
Seriously, these Disneyland peanut butter squares are SO simple to make and SO yummy! If you love my homemade no bake peanut butter bars, you’re going to love them!
One of my favorite treats at Disneyland is the chocolate peanut butter sandwich from Pooh’s corner. I have to get one every time I’m there! We recently visited Disney World and I was so bummed I couldn’t find them there, so I decided I better make them once I got home.
These yummy treats start with a chocolate dipped graham cracker and then have a peanut butter filling with more chocolate on top. If you love the chocolate and peanut butter combo, you are going to LOVE these!
My favorite part about these treats is that the graham cracker is dipped in chocolate and then after the filling is added they are dipped again. And then drizzled with extra chocolate. Seriously, the chocolate lover’s dream!
Ingredients for Disneyland Peanut Butter Squares
- 3 graham cracker sheets, broken in half
- 2 cups dark chocolate melting wafers
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
How to Make a Disneyland Peanut Butter Sandwich
- Melt. Microwave half of the chocolate wafers at 50% power for about 1 minute. Stir, then microwave in 30 second increments until fully melted and smooth.
- Coat. Dip the graham cracker into the bowl of chocolate and use a spoon to coat both sides. Then use a fork to carefully lift up the cracker, tapping the fork on the edge of the bowl to remove any of the excess.
- Place the crackers on a wax paper lined baking sheet, then place in freezer for 5 minutes to harden.
- Add filling. Microwave the peanut butter in a medium bowl for about 15 seconds. Stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Remove crackers from the freezer, then place one scoop of the filling on top of each cracker.
- Use a spatula to spread the filling out to the edge of the cracker. Then freeze again for 5 minutes.
- Coat again. Melt the remaining wafers, then dip the crackers into the bowl. Use the same fork tapping method to remove any excess, then drizzle any leftover chocolate on top.
Expert Tips
- Line your baking sheet with wax paper so the crackers don’t stick. It’s less messy this way, too!
- You can use chocolate chips instead of melting wafers if preferred. Just mix them with 1 teaspoon oil and microwave at 50% power until melted.
- Milk chocolate would also work for this Disneyland peanut butter bars recipe too.
- I like to use a medium cookie scoop to scoop the filling onto the graham cracker.
- Use a ziploc bag to easily drizzle the remaining chocolate on top. Pour it into the bag, then snip off one of the ends with a pair of scissors. Then begin drizzling!

Video
Ingredients
- 3 graham cracker sheets , broken in half
- 2 cups dark chocolate melting wafers
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line a small baking sheet with wax paper. Place the crackers on the pan and set aside.
- Place 1 cup chocolate wafers in a microwavable bowl and then melt for one minute at 50% power. Stir and then microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between until melted.
- Dip the crackers (one by one) into the chocolate and cover both sides with a spoon. Using a fork, carefully lift up the cracker and tap the fork on the edge of the bowl to remove any access chocolate.
- Place the pan in the freezer for 5 minutes, or until hardened. Meanwhile, place the peanut butter in medium size bowl. Microwave for 15 seconds. Stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir until smooth (you may have to use your hands). One the chocolate has hardened, place one scoop (I like to use a medium cookie scoop) on top of each cracker. Spread out with your hands or a spatula, so that the peanut butter comes all the way to the edge. Place in the freezer for 5 minutes.
- Melt the remaining chocolate and then dip the peanut butter crackers into the chocolate. Using a fork, carefully lift up the cracker and tap the fork on the edge of the bowl to remove any access chocolate. Drizzle any leftover chocolate over the top.
