FAQ’s
How long does it take to infuse? To get a strong, fruity taste, I’d recommend refrigerating the water for at least an hour. You can even let it chill overnight, which really helps bring out the fresh flavors.
How long does it last? I’d recommend enjoying within 3 days of making it. I’ve found that the fruit and herbs lose a bit of their freshness any longer than that.
Can you eat the fruit in infused water? Sure. The fruit typically isn’t as flavorful because the juices leak into the water over time, but it can’t hurt to try it! :)
What do you make it in? I love to use mason jar mugs, but you could use an infused water bottle as well. You could even double or triple the recipe in an infusion pitcher.
