  • Christmas punch for kids: This holiday punch recipe is a good one, but when it comes to celebrating our favorite holiday villain this Grinch drink is the way to go!

Ingredient Notes

  • Lime sherbet: Just one container is needed. I like to soften mine so it’s easier to scoop into the punch bowl.
  • Sprite: Any lemon lime soda works even Sprite zero.
  • Pineapple juice: I love the tropical flavor this adds but you can use Hawaiian Punch Green Berry Rush instead or even omit the Sprite.
  • Green food coloring (optional): Adding a few drops of food color really intensifies the green color in this easy Grinch punch recipe especially if serving at a themed Grinch party.

How to Make Grinch Punch

Pour Sprite and pineapple juice into a large punch bowl. Stir to combine. Add a few drops of green food coloring until its your desired shade of green.

Tips and Variations

  • Soda: Any lemon-lime soda works as well as Ginger Ale. You could even use lemon lime Kool-Aid or Green Hawaiian punch in place of pineapple!
  • Instead of a punch bowl: You can use a large pitcher for this party punch, but it really looks so pretty in a punch bowl especially if serving at holiday parties.
  • Serve immediately: This Grinch punch is best served right away. If serving at a Christmas party, add the sherbet just before serving to guests, as it will melt.
  • Garnish: To serve this kid-friendly punch, dip the rim of a glass in water then in red sanding sugar or green sanding sugar. Garnish with red sprinkles or candy hearts.
