This 3-ingredient easy chocolate fudge recipe is made with chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and butter. It’s creamy, smooth and a simple holiday treat for sharing!
Why I Love This Homemade Chocolate Fudge
- Creamy and firm: This is the best chocolate fudge recipe bursting with chocolate flavor with a smooth melt-in-your mouth texture. It’s one of our favorite fudge recipes!
- Quick and easy: Three simple ingredients make easy chocolate fudge prepped in 10 minutes and unlike old-fashioned fudge there is no boiling or thermometer required.
Recipe Ingredients
Only 3 ingredients are needed for this foolproof chocolate fudge!
- Sweetened condensed milk: This makes this easy chocolate fudge smooth and creamy!
- Semisweet chocolate chips: I love to use a high quality chocolate chip brand like Ghiradelli. You could try a combination of chips including milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips or white chocolate chips.
- Salted butter: Adds rich taste and the salt balances flavors.
Recipe Tips and Variations
- Add-ins: Like my fantasy fudge recipe add 1/2-1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans immediately after the chocolate has melted. Add marshmallows for an easy rocky road fudge!
- Flake sea salt: Sprinkle flake sea salt on top of the fudge while still soft or add a salted caramel top like this microwave fudge.
- Extract: Add up to 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract or try peppermint extract!
- Other chocolate: Use white chocolate chips for a white chocolate fudge or make peanut butter fudge with peanut butter chips. Or make a combination with chocolate peanut butter fudge.
- Gifting: This easy fudge recipe can be package in clear treat bags when you need a last minute Christmas food gift or include on a Christmas dessert board.

Instructions
- Prep. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Lightly butter and set aside.
