Spice Ratio
You can play around with the pumpkin pie spice ratio to fit your taste. This recipe uses 2 Tablespoons of cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of nutmeg, and 1 teaspoon of both ginger and cloves. All-spice is optional, however, if you love the spice flavor, add about 1/2 teaspoon.
Feel free to add more or less of each ingredient to taste, or add in other spices such as cardamom. You could even tweak the recipe to make it similar to my homemade apple pie spice which is made with just cinnamon, nutmeg, and all-spice.
