How to Make Peanut Butter Stuffed Brownies
Make brownie batter according to directions on package. Then pour about 2/3 mixture into the parchment lined pan. Cream butter, peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter filling on top of brownie batter.
Add remaining 1/3 brownie mixture on top of peanut butter and smooth with spatula. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
To make chocolate ganache, heat the heavy cream in the microwave for about 30 seconds, or until very hot. Then pour on top of the chopped chocolate (photo below) and cover with saran wrap. Let sit for a few minutes in order to melt.
Stir ganache until smooth, then pour over cooled brownies and smooth with a spatula. Refrigerate for 1 hour prior to serving.
Baking Tips
- Easy clean up: Line your pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Add candy: Add chopped Reese’s to the peanut butter filling before baking or on top of chocolate ganache.
- More chocolate: Feel free to mix in some chocolate chips to your brownie batter.
- Less chocolate: You could omit the chocolate ganache if preferred.
- Don’t over bake! You want the brownies to be gooey and fudgy. Oven timing can vary, so use a toothpick to determine if brownies are done.

If your toothpick is still coming out fudgy another way to tell when the brownies are done are to look at the center. If the brownies are puffed up this means the egg is cooked through.

Yes, definitely!
Have you ever made these only gluten free? Could you substitute the flour or would it taste bad?

Hi Brianna! I haven’t tried this with gluten free flour, but if you have tried it with other recipes, it should work just fine! :)
